About
Told where it happened
Mission
To bring Scotland's history to life through original research, thoughtful storytelling and filming at the places where history happened.
Historical accuracy
Every film and article begins with research, and separates evidence from legend.
Independent production
Made independently, without a tourism or commercial agenda.
Curiosity
Following the questions — including the forgotten and the inconvenient.
Accessible history
Making complex history clear without making it simple.
Scotland Untold is created by a historian with an academic background in Scottish history and professional experience guiding visitors around Scotland — combining scholarship with years spent at the sites themselves.
