Itinerary enquiries

The Plan Your Journey form asks for your name, email address, number of travellers and trip duration. You can also provide travel dates, an approximate budget, historical interests, regions of interest and special requests, such as preferred pace or accommodation. Please do not include sensitive personal information or details about other travellers that are not needed for your enquiry.

These details are collected to understand your trip, respond to your enquiry and discuss an itinerary tailored to your preferences. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter and no payment is taken through the form.

Storage and access

Enquiries are stored in the website’s Lovable Cloud database with a submission timestamp. Public visitors can submit an enquiry but cannot read, change or delete saved enquiries. Access through the website’s management tools is restricted to people with authorised project access; the hosting and storage providers process data to operate the service.

A retention period and the list of people with management access still need to be confirmed by Scotland Untold. This notice will be updated when those details are confirmed.

The newsletter is coming soon. Newsletter email addresses are not currently collected through this website.

Cookies and third-party services

No separate advertising tools have been added to the website’s application code. The published hosting service supplies visitor analytics and technical event scripts. These can record page visits, browser information, referring pages and performance events. The published site also sets cookies named __dpl and __cf_bm. Their exact purposes and lifetimes, the analytics retention period and any consent requirements still need confirmation; this notice does not claim that the website is cookie-free.

The website uses Lovable Cloud for hosting and enquiry storage, Google Fonts for typefaces, and an asset delivery service for photographs and guide previews. Requests to these services may include technical information such as your IP address and browser details.

Social links take you to TikTok, YouTube or Facebook, where that platform’s privacy and cookie practices apply. If a released film is embedded, it uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain; playback may still involve data processing by YouTube. There are currently no released-film embeds in the documentary collection.
